About Kitchen Convert Lab

Kitchen Convert Lab provides quick kitchen unit conversions and recipe-scaling tools. Each converter states the unit system and formula it uses so that volume, mass, US customary, Imperial, and metric measurements are not silently mixed.

Fixed volume-to-volume and mass-to-mass conversions can be calculated directly. Ingredient-dependent weight-to-volume conversions are intentionally avoided unless a density assumption can be stated clearly.

We periodically review formulas, usability, search intent, and the clarity of explanatory notes. If a calculator involves assumptions, those assumptions are displayed alongside the result where practical.
